The “Band Steering” in 3.19.0 Beta is not compatible with HP Wireless Printers.
The report (see image) from the HP Printer says “MAC Address Filtering” is the issue. As there is no feature to manage MACs on the EERO, then I had to disable this Beta Band Steering feature completely, which then allowed the HP printer to connect to the WiFi normally.

I need help choosing some type of WiFi extender to provide internet connection in the low/dead spots in my home that is compatible with my eero system

I don’t know how you guys do it, but eero caches DNS just great (it’s own DNS relay works fantastically) until you ENABLE the DNS caching. Then everything goes out the window, and it’s slower than 1.1.1.1. It can’t be this difficult.

Further improve the optimization of video conference calls and allow for customization of QOS.

Whenever I enable wpa3, it seems to break the network. Nothing loads right. I have tried twice, and both times I have had to disable and then restart the network.

I have all the labs features activated. Recently I found that the basestation is getting incredibly hot and the network restarts intermittently. Is this a known issue?

Enabling WPA3 broke two kinds of HomeKit devices on my network. Disabling WPA3 fixed them. I am in country: US with an Eero-only home network (no other routers, WiFi, NAT, extenders). Those devices are:
Legrand HKRP20 Plug In Dimmer 35CC; firmware version 1.1.22, hardware version 0.2
Eve Extend 20EAB9901; firmware version 1.1 (410)

Does EERO monitor this thread?
I have yet to see anyone who represents themselves as EERO replying to any of these posts.
is this discussion no longer monitored?

First of all, I want to say that I LOVE Eero Secure. It’s great to be able to proactively block known ads and adware before they even hit a client device.
Feature Request:
Please block new devices when they are joined to the network by default. I have kids that like to try to spoof MAC addresses so they can connect to the wireless network and circumvent the Family Profiles in the process.

The band steering beta works great, but I wish I could limit steering via profiles because I have a few fixed devices outside my brick walls that should remain on 2.4

My Apple TV stops working when I activate the lab features.

I'd like to see an integrated schedule that I can set certain devices to not have internet access either by the day or even an hour range like overnight while the parents are asleep.

Bandwidth steering is great. I've noticed less lag when gaming. It's still there every once in a while. Is there an option to specify a priority for bandwidth? The main TV seems to get less bandwidth than the other devices. Odd
