My Tesla Wall Connector Charger will not connect to the Mesh when I toggle WPA3 on thus I cannot use WPA3 on my Eero network

Shut it off.  You don't need wpa3.

DNS often fails for local devices. E.g. iMac.local. I will try to connect, e.g. using ssh or something from a different device and it will claim the device is not known.  After a few retries it will simply start working.

The ability to measure signal strength in various parts of the house would be a big plau!

What have you tried?  I use one from farproc and it works flawlessly in residential and commercial spaces.

Thanks for the information.  I tried the first three (of over 70) that show up on AppStore.  Apple might not feature the apps in the same order each time.  Anyway, thanks for the suggestion as it is a more robust set of tools than I had seen.

apple is limited in how the apps work.  Most of these apps don't work well or at all on Apple devices.

Do you recommend any? I only know of Wireshark for Mac. Are there any iOS ones?

I’ve been having issues with IoT things lately.  But only in one room which is the room where the gateway eero.

I have two smart light bulbs and a smart plug.  Randomly they started shutting off after a minute of being powered on.  I thought maybe one was affecting the other, but at this point I’ve replaced them all with different brands and still have the same thing happening.

assuming it’s the gateway shutting them off,  but why?

I have ektocity smart plugs dropping off network then reset to no avail.  Constantly dropping off, I bought different brands and still dropping.  Have to continue to reset them... I'm tired of having to reset and it doesn't do any good, within a day they are dropped again.  I've had MY ISP ON PROPERTY and THEY SAY ITS NOT THEIR PROBLEM.  The ISP is working properly.  EERO HAS done something recently that has created a problem with all the smart devices dropping off.  EERO WHY DONT YOU FIX the PROBLEM!!

exactly.  Same issue.  I tried different brands, they said turn off WPA3 all that  did was drop off existing things I already had connected like one of my laptops.

Now I am back to having service drops almost hourly.   Mostly on my phone.  It’ll say it’s connected but just load and load.  My Fing network monitor keeps popping up with connectivity issues.

im so sick of this.  If I had the money I’d get something different.   I’m buying a wireless card and plan to put these things into bridge mode and hosting my network through PF sense until I can find something better.

I am right there with you,  I'm sick and tired of this.  EERO has done something RECENTLY that has caused this problem and they will not admit it nor take responsibility for it.  EERO needs to step up to the Plate and resolve the ISSUE!!  If I had the money I'd be Leaving and LOOKING FOR ANOTHER NETWORK RESOLUTION!!

Any way to have an option of setting time limits on specific devices connected to the eero?

create a profile and set time limits on that. Then assign any devices you want to limit to that profile. I use this to limit my kids devices.

i see you can schedule the time or downtime but what I am looking for is for me to schedule a 3 hour timer so that after being in use for 3 hours, it cuts the internet.

ah, yes. That isn’t available. To achieve device lock out, I use the apple screen time controls on my kids devices. Also Kindle offers a control for this, too.
