HP does not support wpa3 like other products out there

Shut it off.  You do not need to use wpa3

yes they are different.  I stated that wpa3 is an encryption used in wifi6.  I should have mentioned that wifi6 will not be most secure if your not using wpa3 with wifi6.  It will work, but not optimal security.  You won't get 256-bit encryption algorithms.

It’s in the labs section. If you didn’t turn it on it should already be off ?

plug your computer via an ethernet cable to the isp modem and see if you still have issues.  If so, then it's your isp.  Eero does not provide the service

is the ethernet connected to the ISP Modem, or is it connected to the Eero (White) device?  If it is directly into the modem, then It's either your computer or the ISP that is the issue.

what issues did you have with Eero.  I do not have any issues with them in 3 different houses.  And is this a Eero supplied by your isp?  Just curious to know what you experienced as an issue.

Worst shit ever all this eero does is turn off by itself , if you work from him the eero is your worst nightmare. It’s like they shut it off on purpose.

My personal experience is that after the initial updates the dual eero mesh works just fine - mine were supplied by Talktalk UK on a fibre to the home broadband FTTH. The one change I did was to change the default DNS to cloud flare family 1.1.1.4 / 1.0.0.4 for better performance as Talktalk DNS has a history of being slow. I guess before trashing eero it’s good to figure out is it’s eero, ISP or DNS who is having the issue.

I've had no issues w my eero, at least as to identifying it as a problem. My main issue has been my ISP. Don't have fiber where we are yet, but I was able to increase the download speed to 200 Mbps that's made a big improvement in streaming.

I could find out what my default DNS is but I'm guessing my ISP sets that. What would be the symptoms for me to know that I might need to change that?

I experienced slow websites and loading of pages took longer as a website makes many dns calls. Talktalk also used to suffer from dns timeouts where sites just wouldn’t work. Not a bandwidth issue but can’t resolve the dns name. Eero is a bit awkward but dns can be changed in network setting from default to custom.

Why is this thread still a thing.  No matter what gets posted the Eero plant tells you you’re wrong and Eero is the best thing since sliced bread.  It’s crap.  They ask for feedback for the “lab” features that never change.   But do literally nothing with the feedback other than tell you you’re wrong.

I have had issues since upgrade to eeroOS version 7 in October 2023. Previously I have had WPA 3 turned on. It seems my other devices that connect work fine except a work laptop I use. It has Cisco AnyConnect and the connection cycles with “Authenticating”. When I turn off WPA 3, within a few seconds I can connect without any authentication issues. Essentially, I’m unable to make a proper connection to the VPN (windows machine) when WPA 3 is on after receiving OS v7. Is there a way to fix this issue? It worked fine for v6 and before. I didn’t have issues.

Can’t believe I can’t have multiple SSIDs for the main network. I have devices I want to isolate yet still have access to devices in the main network.

the guest network is isolated and that isn’t what I need.

I’ve been loving my eero device and its features however I would love it more if you guys introduced eero built-in in Australia. Not sure why it’s not available everywhere but this would be a great addition

If I have WPA3 enabled the eve outdoor cam refuses to join the WiFi, I can toggle it on and watch the camera drop, toggle it off, and it comes right back. It is the only device I have found that refuses to play with the WPA3 beta, but it does, and you won’t be able to add the device to your home unless you turn off WPA3 and keep it off. Maddening.

this is a Beta feature and probably riddles with issues. If you need it then submit a ticket to their support group.

Hello all - a feature I'd like to see in the future is the ability to use or clone a MAC for the Ethernet ports built into the primary mesh internet router during the initial setup. My ISP associates my router based on MAC for service and billing and when installing, it would have been much much easier for me to set the Ethernet port to the old routers MAC address. It took me 2 hours with the ISP to clear their network of my old MAC in order to run through the painful process of getting the new router online. The ISP wanted me to "follow the guided internet setup" but because the EERO wasn't allowing me out onto the internet (as it said it wasn't getting a valid IP address) the ISP was forced to manually enter my MAC address into their network. Thanks!!!!

Another feature request - please look into adding a "reboot device" option that can be scheduled to occur at a specific time and set to repeat on a daily, weekly, or monthly schedule (aka the frequency of which the router would reboot on a set schedule) I've found that lately when my video streaming is grainy and low quality, a reboot of the device was what fixed it. I'm sure it also has to do with the high concentration of WiFi routers within the apartment complex and frequency interference is mostly to blame, but if that's the case, I would hope the router has the ability to "frequently scan the various 2.4 and 5.0 channel ranges to determine what is best to use" (say every few hours) --- again thanks in advance.
