    Guys,

We need to be able to disable or configure DFS.  Some devices don’t like certain DFS channels (Roku/Firestick, etc) and will ignore 5ghz.  Some of my devices end up with slow 2.4 ghz connections that aren’t good enough for 4K, but they work fine on 5ghz (when eero selects a lower channel).  I’m looking for another solution now as this is a big use case for me.

Anyone else extremely disappointed that they have yet to release any new eero labs content? When I first got my system I was actually really hyped about this idea. Eero really made it seem like they were going to be releasing new features/innovative networking ideas. Now it has been almost a year and a half since I bought my Eero and they have yet to release a single new lab idea. Y'all should change your description of Eero Labs. It is hardly the "latest innovations in wifi". Additionally, y'all shamelessly claim to be "pushing forward new features in future app releases". The labs have literally not changed at all since I purchased my system a year and a half ago. Seems a bit dishonest to me.... Why not be forthcoming about what these features are? They are simply streamlined ways to further customize your wifi. It's frustrating you frame these features as "innovative" while the majority of routers made in the last 5 years have the ability to implement these features. I'll admit on these routers it is much more complicated and time consuming but certainly possible. I would have been perfectly happy with my purchase if you had simply never even mentioned Eero Labs, but you did. Y'all don't get to advertise your products as having this feature when you clearly don't put in the time/effort necessary to make it function. Honestly, wish I could return my Eero over this, but I trusted y'all would follow through on a feature you claimed would be included with my product. I have no idea why I committed that much trust to a company, and hey! surprise surprise another company that doesn't care or respect its customers!

QoS by device, instead of by data type, would be a nice feature. I work from home and my kids homeschool as well. There are times where video data on there iPads for schooling is prioritized over my work computer. I’d like to at least like to prioritize my work laptop as most important first.

To utilize Wifi 6e, we have to enable WPA3 but at the same time Router falls to WPA2/WPA3 that will cause Legacy WPA devices to drop from network and unable to connect.

If I disable WPA3 then the Router falls back to WPA/WPA2 so all devices can connect but in that case 6GHZ band is not utilized that is what Eero Pro6e built for.

    Suggestions:-

Broadcast WPA/WPA2/WPA3 once WPA3 is enabled so all devices can connect and at the same time utilize 6GHZ spectrum as well.

Or a Tamporary workaround allow control on Guest Network to control WPA3 setting so that legacy devices can connect to Guest network with WPA3 disabled while main network can utilize WPA3 at same time.

Why does eero network slowdown when extender is added. Seems to be throttle instead of booster

Would like to see a feature that would give you the ability you to approve all new connections to the network. This would allow me to stop access from a device that changes the MAC address like Android phones.

misterb408 it's not just Android phones that change MAC addresses, most newer iPhones do so as well.  I agree, your ideal is a good one.

I would REALLY love a feature in which I could set certain devices on my network (like smart home devices) to only access the 2.4ghz band. My eero keeps steering my security cams (which are 2.4 only) to 5ghz. I have shut off client steering but it doesn’t help. Being able to customize which band my devices can access would be HUGELY useful.

Home1974 There are older Apple devices that will only connect to my home WiFi using the WPA2 setting–I have an older iPad that won’t recognize WPA3. This is no fault of eero’s WPA3 setting.

nxmi it is on a 2.4 and 5 gigahertz roku stick and a 2.4 windows and sometimes a 2.4 security camera. All these devices do not support wpa3

For my windows it doesn't keep a connection, and it takes 45-60 min to make a stable connection

Please consider allowing us to restrict a max address or device to 2.4ghz or 5ghz. I have a doorbell that keeps connecting to 5 and then failing and it’s infuriating.

The Wpa3 and the optimize network settings in the lab prevent the Govee Dreamview T1 Pro from connecting to 2.4 network.  Must have both off for the Govee to connect.

Before changing to eero I had full WiFi coverage in my small 2 bed house and it also reached to the back of my garden. It's only 15mtrs to be fair but it still worked. Now since the dodge engineer installed euro it doesn't work properly in the upstairs back bedroom or the bathroom and not well in the garden. The Speed also is not as fast dipite running getting a 149.5 on the speed test .

The legacy mode to get my work laptop to work is also a pain .  Its Windows 10 so maybe this is an issue that my IT department need to look at

Before anyone says the reason for my bad coverage is due to me having the legacy mode on , I turn this off as soon  as my work day is done so this is not the reason.

    I wish I didn't upgrade.

Can we please get more information about blocked content? As in, What web address was blocked from being accessed? As well as a way to report content that went unfiltered by the network.

I would like to see the ability to remove devices that have dropped offline and change channels or bands. I have been having issues with devices staying in the eero but not actually removing themselves. This interface would help us better manage our connected devices.

btrkg also have the ability to choose our security protocols instead of having it predetermined. Some devices have defined protocols.

The “Optimize for conferencing and gaming” feature just throttles things that aren’t video, rather than prioritizing for video and gaming. If there is no video or gaming going on in my network, downloads should have access to the full bandwidth available. Currently, it doesn’t. Once I turned this feature off, I got the speed up I expected.
