MacBook can't get an IP from just one of my Beacons

I have a MacBook that is running Mojave 10.14.5 and it can't get an IP from one of my Beacons. It connects to the wifi but only with a self-assigned IP address. If I look at the devices connected to the Beacon, it seems other devices are working fine, including my iPhone, so it appears to problem is just with my Mac. My Mac works fine with the other 2 Beacons. Has anyone seen this type of problem before?

    I too have the same problem, and spent an hour on the phone troubleshooting such esoteric things as "another ghost access point on your network" or "your Eero is blacklisted by your device (an apple MacBook) contact the manufacturer". No permanent fix, very frustrating to see this is not a unique problem and should have a solution to it.

    Apple will need to solve it as it's the device blacklisting the node or nodes. I've experienced the same problem at work with a few staff iPhones that blacklisted certain APs in our nine floor hospital. Erasing the phone didn't help us.

    We ended up replacing those phones with new ones which were fine then I tested the old ones again several months later and they had cleared themselves of the blacklisting. It's not much of a problem for us with three or four iPhones out of a fleet of twenty-two hundred but it's got to be exasperating when it's your one MacBook, etc affected!

    Having the exact same issue. Anyone find out any more info? I ran some network traces, and the eero network is not responding to the DHCP requests, so it doesn't appear to be a mac issue.

    Just create a new user account, I guess it's up to you whether you would like to find the underlying issue or just have a computer that can access the internet.

    I see this topic is a few years old. But I have this same problem on both my Windows and Mac laptops.  I have been trying for months to resolve it.  I tried resetting (some were managed) and then replacing my Netgear switches.  I tried drying different USB-C to ethernet adapters.  I tried replacing the cat-6 that runs to my home office. I even received a brand new MacBook Pro running Ventura from my employer yesterday.  It had the same problem and self-assigned an IP address when I plugged the USB-C to ethernet adapter into it.  All my other wired devices, the eeros themselves, my gaming PCs, my TV, my PS5, and PS4, are working flawlessly.  Does anyone know a solution besides creating a new account?  (I'll probably start a new thread for this since this is old)

    MacBookPro 2012 running Catalina 10.15.7.  Had a hard time connecting devices to the network.  Turns out it the Verizon router and the EERO wifi routers were competing to issue DHCP addresses. Had to turn off the EERO DHCP server and put it into bridge mode as devices could not see each other over the network (different subnets).  Most devices recovered and picked up the IP address as expected.  This MacBook refused to pickup a new IP address.  Deleted IP address and even configuration files.  The fix was to unselect "Automatically join this network" and reconnect to the network.
