Wall mount and POE adapter doesnt work. Stay away from it.

So I tried using the wall mount and poe adapter to install an eero and it turned into a nightmare.

Spent hours trying to setup an EERO using the wall mount. After a while of not getting any where we called tech support. We had a flashing yellow light on the unit. Tech support said this wasnt possible, it doesnt do that.  It must be white and is ready to setup. NO IT WAS NOT. Later that night after searching online I see that flashing yellow means an incompatible power supply.... So it is an error code and Tech support said it couldnt even do that.

Now Im using the wall bracket with a poe inserter. So i try a different one, no good. I try 3 different ones and a poe switch, no good. I take it back to my distributor and try 2 other wall mounts and all do the same thing. But it will power off of its regular power supply so they will not exchange the main router.
So now it sits on a dresser with the cable hanging down the wall. We have about 14 hours into a 3 hour job. Im unhappy, The distributor is unhappy and the client is unhappy.

Third time I have tried to use this product and third problem. It NEVER installs easily.

Did you try another eero unit with the same PoE adapter?

Were the PoE adapters actually from eero, or did the distributor get 3rd party ones?

cMoo92 The Distributor would not open another EERO to try it since the one we had worked off of its own power supply.

Erro does not make POE injectors. They only make the wall mount splitter kit.

We tried POE injector from Arknis, Ubiquiti, and crestron. We tried a POE switch from luxul and Ubiquiti. All were standard 48 volt poe+.
