Beta features and Surface 3
I discovered today that two beta features prevent only my Surface 3 from connecting. My other 40+ devices work fine. One steers devices to the fastest connection speed, the other improves WPA3 security.

Hello,
That is very strange indeed. Band Steering should not prevent any devices from connecting to the eero system. All it does is delay the connection to 2.4Ghz responses so that a device will receive a response from the 5Ghz request first. The WPA3 might be something else that is going on, but it is an additional security option that is currently in beta. I would suggest sending an email to support@eero.com with your computer specs and a description of the behavior so we can take a look at it for you.
Thank you,
James

Same thing happens on BOTH my Surface Pro 3’s. Everything works fine until I activate the WPA3 beta. Then neither of these models will connect to the internet until I disable the beta. As soon as disabled, connects again immediately.

Exact same issue here with the Surface Pro 3. I have tried downgrading the driver and then upgrading it using the driver download pack from Microsoft but no difference. The only thing that gets it working is to disable the Wi-Fi 6 beta feature. Switching it to Legacy mode from the troubleshooting menu of the Eero app doesn't help.
This is the only device on my network that has had an issue even though I have lots of older devices thermal Surface Pro 3 working fine on it.
