Eero 6+ won't connect to new Epson WF-3820 printer

When I use the WiFI connect wizard, it doesn't even show my WiFi network (but my neighbors' networks are listed). I know it works because I have at least 15 other devices connected - doorbell, television, thermostats, my laptop - even a 10 or so year old HP printer. 

Surely it should work. It's not out of range, being just about 6 inches away from the Eero gateway.

    When I had this problem on my printer, I had to totally reset the printer settings then it just worked. Printers are headaches.
