Eero gateway flashing blue

I came downstairs this morning and noticed that my wired internet was a lot slower than normal. After some troubleshooting I noticed that my gateway Eero (connected to my Sky router) was red and showing as offline in the app, so I reset it by holding the button on the underside, it flashed white for a few seconds and then turned to flashing blue and the whole system is showing as offline? It's been like it for 15-20 minutes.

    You held the button on the bottom long enough that you did a factory reset on that eero. With it flashing blue, that means it’s like you are just taking it out of the box and need to go through the process in the app of adding it again.

       Very likely, they also could have done a soft reset (held for 6 to 10 seconds until led goes yellow) and the eero doesn't have internet access.  When you soft reset it will go to blinking blue as it tries to connect to the internet using default settings (hope it wasn't a static IP/PPPoE setup!) and go to the eero cloud to download network settings.
