Remote printing not working.

I switched to Eero mesh 6.  I'm using a MacBook Air and removing to my office desktop using Cisco Anyconnect.  I was able to print remotely using my old router.  Now when I print,  on the desktop it says that it is printing, but nothing prints on my HP Office jet Pro 9010.  When I disconnect the vpn, everything prints out.  I spent 45 minutes with technical support but they could not figure it out.  Any thoughts?

Probably something to do with the IP addressing. Try matching your eero DHCP IP address settings to what your old router used. For example, eero by default uses 192.168.7.x. Your old router might have used 192.168.0.x. You can configure this in the eero app under Settings > Advanced > DHCP & NAT

I changed the IP address but it still does not print until I exit the VPN.

Just to make sure I understand correctly, your MacBook and printer are at home, correct?

What IP prefix does your MacBook at home get from the eero gateway? (i.e. 192.168.1.x)

What IP address prefix does your MacBook get when connected to the VPN?

Your computer will get an IP address through the VPN just like how you get an IP address while your on your local network.

I’m guessing that’s still your local IP address though from your eero. I’m not familiar with the AnyConnect client, but I’m guessing somewhere in there it will show you what IP address it’s using once you’re connected.
