RSS 2.0 Player support on EERO?

I installed EERO yesterday and discovered an APP which uses RSS 2.0 player for streaming would not connect. Is this a setup thing or EERO does not support RSS 2.0 at all? Any information is appreciated.

I don’t think there’s anything that would be blocking it. The network isn’t going to care about what’s going across it internally. Your description of the issue is lacking a lot of detail though, so I’m not sure what functionality isn’t working. Are you trying to stream from the web to the app, or from a server/computer on your local network?

cMoo92 Thank you from responding. The APP I am trying to stream is called vChannel. I have been streaming shows from the site for years with my Netgear Nighthawks with no issue. After switching to EERO, I got the message "Connection Error. Please check your WIFI or network connection" while my wifi is running. I went on the web and searched about vChannel and saw that vChannel is a RSS 2.0 Player (not sure what that meant). The strength thing is for a moment yesterday, I was able to get on vChannel and watched one show. Then Connection Error came back. This happened to 3 iPADs. Ironically I used my iPhone cell (off WiFi) and I was able to stream from that site. So, I concluded EERO is the culprit.

      Thanks.

That is it. I went to Security and turned off Ad blocking and solved the problem. Still don’t know why that would block the RSS player, however.

thank you for trying to help.
