Finally, I’m a happy customer

Just wanted to say it’s been a few months now with my Eero 3 piece system and finally, I’m a happy customer.   I’ve tried many mesh networks and decided on the eero for its performance nd reliability.   I admit tho, range isn’t as far as other routers but it’s been pretty solid and reliable.   The app is clean and informative and easy to use.   The few times I’ve called customer service, I’m welcomed, and easily helped.   Never felt like one of the reps were reading off a FAQ card giving generic answers like other companies do.

Ive managed to successfully use cujo firewall with eero by bridging both units nd rebooting everything.   Some of you know, I’ve had some issues with it.  Everything performs exceptionally well now with my 50+ devices.   When I called to cancel my trial Eero Plus, since I now have the cujo, it was done immediately without the rep trying to convince me to keep it, trying to sell it or force it don my throat.   I respect that.

I do wish however, some  of the features of Eero Plus were included, specifically parental controls and ad blocking, Or at least, purchase features a la carte.   Some of us don’t need or want things like password managers or VPNs.  Some of us already own them.   Just a thought.

I hope Eero continues to strive to be the better mesh network company, and excel in their customer service, the latter being paramount.   Thank you for a well built product and I look forward to seeing greater things from Eero.

I just purchased the Eero router and love it. But I want to use my Cujo and avoid the Eero Plus cost. Can you tell me how you connected your Cujo. I want to be able to use Eero app, and Eero to set Ip's. Is this possible? Thanks

I had to run everything in bridge mode.  Eero and the Cujo, including my ISP (FIOS) router with it's wifi turned off.  From there, I do lose some functionality with the Eero app while in bridge mode, but the Cujo app allows parental control which makes up for it.
