Eero V1 in Bridge Mode

I've been struggling with speeds on my OG Eero system (Eero 1 I guess) and the eero regularly not seeing my printer on the network until I restart the eero net.

I have Comcast Gig speed and was thinking about switching my Eero set up to bridge and moving my switch (that my printer are on) to the Comcast Gateway directly.

my current setup is Xfinity Gateway Device hardwired to Eero Gateway which is hardwired to switch. The switch then feeds the other two Eero devices via hardwire.

I understand via other posts the I need to have a Eero in line before the switch (which frankly I dont understand) but that I can simply go from my Comcast Gateway - to one of the Eeeros - back to the pitch and then out to all of my wired device (including the other two Eero devices

Waht kind of improvements or problems might I be inviting...I am a home office user...No significant tech skills and frankly if it weren't for the eero losing my printer I would just deal with the speed throttle of the Eero V1 hardware.

Honestly? You need to upgrade your eero. They will stop security updates on the first eero probably this year.

Anything newer eero gear would be better than that. But I recommend eero 6+ or pro 6.
