Missing device names and IP Address info.
Hello folks.
Love the eero product. I just setup 2 eero models and one eero beacon in this network.
I've updated the firmware to v6.2.0-1837
These units are connected to an Xfinity Wifi 6 (I believe - see picture). The eero units are bridged because I didn't want to disrupt any devices already on the network (printers, etc).
We are an Eero partner and we install these for customers. We use the Remote Network Monitoring tool. The network topology picture you see here was acquired from this tool.
My question: Why can't I see MOST of the 24 devices connected to this network. I can't see IP Addresses as well.
I DID transfer ownership to the customer. I don't know what HE is seeing on his app. I just know as a provider I seem to have very little insight into the ip space or the device names.
Thanks for any insight you can give!

What is the name of the tool you are using to capture their information?

You can’t see the IP address because they’re in bridge mode. If they were in normal mode, the eero gateway would be handing out the IP addresses instead of the Xfinity router, and then eero would show the IP addresses for devices.
My eero network is in bridge mode as well because I’m running a UniFi router, and my eero app doesn’t show any IP addresses for devices.

Hello,
This is normal for a bridged eero network. eero works best when it is not in bridged mode and has difficulty reporting on devices when it is placed in bridge mode as it no longer monitors or assigns IP addresses to the devices.
Thank you,
James

provided the phone has ICMP enabled, you should have no problem
