New to Eero - can't register Alexa skill

Hi - I have replaced 6 x BT WholeHome discs with 6 x Eero Pro units.

I have Sky broadband (I am in the UK) and Eero it is setup in Bridge mode

Network connectivity around my house is good currently.

One thing that has me scratching my head is that I cannot link my Eero account to the Alexa skill. I have setup my Eero with my Amazon account and I am using the email address I use to login to Amazon and it is not recognised. I tried using  the mobile I have registered with Amazon and that is accepted but not login code arrives.

Any ideas? Should I log a support case?

Thanks

Same here! Any chance to have a fix or workaround?

I have opened a support case and will let you know the outcome.

I asked Eero support for an update a few days ago and the response was that there has been no progress. It not critical for me to have Alexa work with Eero but it is sold as "works with Alex" and the box is labelled similarly, so if the integration only works in some regions then that should be made clear.

In the help section it seems to state that if you use your Amazon account to set up your Eero, you don't need to link it to the skill.

    This is what it says:

Partner Account Linking - Do I need to link Amazon Alexa if I use Amazon Login or have linked my Amazon account from the eero app?

No. Logging into eero using your Amazon account or linking to Amazon in the eero app replaces needing to link to eero from Alexa. For customers using eero login and not electing to Amazon account link, you would enable the Alexa skill using Partner Account Linking from the eero Alexa Skill here.

If this is the case, I've tried to control my Eero with my Alexa devices but Alexa states that it's not supported yet!

You are right - I just tried it myself. Thanks for the update.

Thanks for the update. I can now log in too but I can't get the Alexa app to discover my eero devices. I've tried asking Alexa to switch the guest network on and off or switch off/on the led lights on each unit, but no luck. Any ideas?
