Cannot access MoFi router administration interface behind Eero


I have my Eero Pro (version 3.19) connected to a MoFi cellular router configured with IP pass through. Here's the documentation related to this:

With IP Pass Through, this feature will make your router to work as a modem.

This feature will pass everything over to the device connected.

I've used this successfully with an Asus router, a TP-Link Deco. However, it doesn't work with eero.

Internet <----> MoFi router <-----> eero <-------> home devices

I can ping the MoFi router at, but I get connection refused on port 80, 8080, 22, etc. Given that it worked fine with other routers, it seems to be a problem with routing in the Eero.

Anybody with similar experience or a workaround?

  • Try manually forwarding the port to the client device you are using to try and connect with.
