My Frontier FIOS - eero Pro 6 setup success

So I just got Frontier FIOS gigabit installed yesterday and it came with two eero Pro 6 units. I had an existing TP-Link Archer A7 which was running my existing network. My plan was to go from the Frontier MOCA adapter to the eero and then feed the existing router from there. Which worked but it reduced the network speeds considerably. After some testing and reading up others experiences, I decided to ditch the router entirely. I replaced the router with a Netgear GS108 8-Port Gigabit Ethernet Unmanaged Switch. Now I get a speed of 880 down and 990 up on my hardwired desktop as opposed to the 300 or so I got going through the router. I'll miss the control I had with my router and piHole ad blocker combination, but the speed is nice. Just thought I would share my experience for anyone else trying to do a similar setup. My second floor has the second eero installed with a hardwire going back to that same switch.

Here's the speedtest on my PC that is connected to the switch immediately after the eero - before I used the switch it was at like 300
