Eero with Airport Express

Can i use apple airport express wirelessly with my Eero?  I don't need it to extend any signal, I just need it to stream music for me.  I'm not sure if Eero uses some proprietary software where it's only Eero to Eero networks.  Thanks.

Also, if i can, will the signal from the Eero put a damper on my speed and coverage of the Eero?

I use four Airport Expresses as ethernet and USB bridges for various devices.  You can set up your Airport Express to join your Eero network ("join a wireless network" under the "Wireless" tab for the Airport Express in the Airport utility) and I imagine you can stream music from it - I have used mine for over a year to connect printers and ethernet cameras, smart TV's (ethernet), etc to the network and they work great with zero hiccups, glitched or disconnects.  N

I found I had to zero out/reset the Airport Express and then start from scratch for it to find the Eero mesh network.  Not sure why...  Once I got one working, it was pretty easy to use Airport Utility to clone that setup to my other Express.
