Help it let me post with no text and theres no edit or delete button!

Can anyone help my wifi adapter is always picking up the 2.4 Ghz band not the much faster 5 Ghz band with me gateway eero 6. How can I force it pick up the 5 Ghz on my PC where it is connected? Its spec says it should pick this up. My other devices like mobile phone and laptop pick up the 5Ghz immediately. Is eero 6 not compatible with this adapter? I noter eero 6 uses same SSID for both bands and only appears as one wifi connection in the wifi list on my PC. Not sure where it is deciding to choose 2.4 over 5. Any help? I looked in eero app but cant find any advanced settings that looked useful. Is there broswer based router home page that has more options and how do i load it?
