Connection issues with Eero network after update to 6.0.2 on my gaming laptop

Hi everyone,

I'm experiencing some frustrating connection issues with my Eero network since updating to version 6.0.2 on my gaming laptop [https://www.lenovo.com/ca/en/d/gaming-laptops]. I'm hoping that someone here might be able to offer some advice or solutions.

Prior to the update, I had no issues connecting to my Eero network and had a stable and reliable connection for gaming and streaming. However, since the update, I've been unable to connect to the network at all. I've tried restarting both my laptop and the Eero network, but this hasn't resolved the issue.

I'm using a gaming laptop with a built-in wireless adapter and have confirmed that the adapter is working correctly by connecting to other networks without any issues. It's only with my Eero network that I'm experiencing problems.

Has anyone else experienced similar issues with their Eero network after updating to 6.0.2? If so, have you been able to resolve the issue, and if yes, how did you do it?

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated as I'm keen to get back to gaming and streaming without any further interruptions.

Thank you in advance for your help.

    Hi Judy Watson

These kind of issues can be frustrating.  Have you tried power cycling (unplugging and plugging back into power) of the eero yet?  If not I would give that a whirl first.

Are other devices connecting to the eero? If not I would give support a call: https://support.eero.com/hc/en-us/articles/207376426-How-do-I-contact-eero-support-

If other devices do connect find and can get internet, what I would try is forgetting/deleting the old network data on your laptop.

    Windows 11 - Forget Wi-Fi Connection

1: From the Windows desktop, navigate: Start. Settings. Network Settings & internet. (left-panel).
        2: Wi-Fi. .
        3: Manage known networks. .
4: Forget. to the right of the appropriate Wi-Fi network name.

Then reconnect the laptop to the eero wifi, make sure the password is put in correctly.

Also, make sure the eero are up to date, our current firmware is 6.14.0-4275.  You can manually update firmware by going to eero app->Settings->Software.
