Question about the Eero light.
I have a set of 3 Eero Pro's 2nd Gen. I can swear at the time I got them around Nov 2018 you were able to adjust the intensity of the white light, not just turn them on or off. One of the Eero's became defective and Eero recently replaced it. I noticed that the white light is much brighter than my other Eero's, including the one that became defective. They were all the same brightness. I'm pretty sure I remember they were just as bright as the replacement and I changed the intensity of the white light in the previous app.I called Eero and was told that the intensity of the light was never adjustable but I'm not sure that is correct. Is there anyone who knows if it was ever possible to change the brightness of the white light? Thanks.

For the year I've owned eero the Pro's power indicator light was never adjustable. There's no option to turn it off which is understandable since the light's color tells you what state the Pro is in (connected, not connected, malfunctioning, etc)
The Beacon does allow its nightlight (not the power indicator) to be set on, off or "ambient" which is triggered by the room's ambient light level.

David S is correct. It’s never been an option to dim the status light. The only option has ever been to have it on or off.

YES, you can adjust the intensity of the lights. Unfortunately, as they get older they apparently lose their ability to stay bright white. Three of mine are so dim that I have to cup my hands around my eyes and lower my face onto the top of my eero extender in order to see what color the light is. The fourth is newer and it is still bright white. Open your eero app and go to each individual extender, double click in each device, scroll down to find "status light", click on that status light to make sure the light is on and use the scroll to be sure it is pushed to the right until your device is as bright as you want it to be.
