Assign a specific eero and/or wireless band to device

I'm using a wifi enabled Roost water detection device that is getting poor signal.  Can I force a specific eero to connect to it?  The problem might be the wireless band.  It uses 2.4 GHz only.  Can the eero force that band only to that specific device?

    This is a request that we already have here in the community, and it can be found here.

    If this device is connecting to an incorrect eero, I would suggest rebooting the eero it has connected to so it can connect to the correct one. Chances are that after a system reboot, your device connected to an eero within range that came back online first. Since it doesn't roam, it won't feel the need to switch.

    As for forcing a specific band, since eero is a mesh network, it isn't possible for a device to only use the 2.4 or 5 Ghz band.
