Question about devices and Wi-Fi performance

Hi everyone. I have the eero WiFi setup. I had a question about which is the better way to go to get the best performance:

I'm going to be cutting the cord and going straight to streaming for my television service via Roku Ultra Boxes. 2 of the 3 TVs in my home just so happened to be right in front of CAT5 ethernet ports. To me, it seems logical that if I plug the Roku Ultra directly into the ethernet ports, (as opposed to going wifi with them), that their performance would be faster? Would this also be better for my wifi performance, as I would have less devices on the WiFi? And therefore, the one TV I have that does not have the ability to plug into an ethernet port, will perform better because it will be all WiFi, but will be the only TV on the WiFi network?

The guy at Best Buy seemed like he knew he was talking about, and he told me that a mesh Network actually works better if everything's on WiFi. Something to do with prioritizing... of course, this is a "guy from Best Buy," so that's why I'm taking this to the community. Let me know what you think!

    Wired is *always* faster. Always.

Your plan is spot-on good.   Even wireless mesh networks are better wired.
