Good idea (from wife)- Signal Strength
Have the app tell you best area to place your EERO in. Based on signal strength it would say "try and place in this room"

Thanks for the feedback! We've received similar feedback in the past, and I'll be sharing it with our product team.
While the eero application doesn't tell you specifically where to place your additional eeros, it will inform you if the selected place is not within reach of your primary eero (the one connected directly to your modem). We also have some great setup tips at this Help Center article.
If you ever need additional help with placement, please don't hesitate to contact our support team! They'll be happy to help get everything optimally setup! They can be reached at support@eero.com or 877-659-2347.
Thanks again!

I just installed a set of three eero and agree rgreenpc (better, agree with the wife :) ) and found myself walking around with an android phone app signal strength meter to get an idea of what was happening.
In the initial installation it would be nice to see a graphic around the eero in question with a strength indicator such as make the ring around it pulse light amber (week) to dark green (strong), or the usual set of 'cell type bars'. Perhaps based on some algorithm of location and signal strength knowing that the set will try to optimize over time?
I would bet that the firmware has / collects these data already.

Thanks for chiming in and welcome to the eero community!
Great feedback here, and I'll be sure to add it to the feedback already passed along by rgreenpc .
