Changing SSID or WiFi Password

I have searched and found numerous articles and support links that show the eero pro user how to change the network name or the wifi password.

What I have NOT found are the ramifications of doing that.  If I change the network name or change the password to the network, will I have to go to each wireless device and have it find the new SSID and then enter a the new password to allow it on the network?

I was hoping that eero would magically take care of all that for me as I have almost 30 active connections.

Any assistance or links to support items would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, if you change the network name

or password, you’ll have to change that on every device. No WiFi system can push these kinds of changes to devices.

Thank you very much. I didn’t think that these access points were that smart! :-) But the instructions online simply state that is easy to change it, but they should at least give the caveat that you have to change it on the devices as well.  JMHO
