iOS/iPadOS "Private Wi-Fi Address" Option Turns ON By Itself -- But Only on Eero

Here's my current scenario: I have a number of iPhones and iPads, all of which have the "Private Wi-Fi Address" (PWFA) option turned OFF. I do this because I have IP reservations set up in my Eero for all of my devices, and the reservations will not work if the PWFA option is turned on -- the reservations are based on the MAC address of the device, but that's randomized when PWFA is turned on. Usually this all works just fine.

Unfortunately, if any iPhone or iPad is restarted for any reason -- including power-off and power-on, or installing an iOS or iPadOS update -- when that device reconnects to the Eero network, the PWFA option turns ON by itself and the device's IP address changes. I cannot just turn the PWFA option off, because then I am left with a stupid "Privacy Warning" on my device. I have to completely forget the WiFi network and then re-add it, with PWFA turned OFF, to get back to where I want to be.

This only happens with Apple iOS and iPadOS devices (devices with the PWFA option), and it only happens with Eero networks. I blame both Eero and Apple for this.

So, Eero: Are you FINALLY going to get together with Apple and figure out why this is happening, and fix it? My expectation is that WiFi settings, once set, will NOT change and that my devices will ALWAYS come up on the network with the same IP address when I have an IP reservation set.
