Apple TV connection problem

My Apple TV is connected fine, but a few apps require an ipad or iphone to connect to the ATV, and then can't "see" each other.  I suspect it might be something with the mesh network - eg do certain devices see separate networks and thus don't see each other on the same network?  Any advice appreciated

    I've been experiencing a similar issue. I have two Apple TVs in my house. They both connect to wifi without any issues, but when you attempt to use the Remote app instead of the physical remote they show offline in the app. If I unplug two of the eero's the Remote app works flawlessly. When I have all eero's on it seems like the app intermittently doesn't see the Apple TVs as being on the same wifi network.
