My Arris módem recently met its maker so I upgraded to the SB8200 Modem, upgraded service from 250mb to 400mb speed through Comcast and changed all Ethernet cables to CAT7.  The eero’s needed registered again with IP address so a call to support quickly fixed my connection issue.  

Upon our conversation, I was told to go from the modem directly to the eero base and not my switch.  My switch can handle 10GB, so no worries there and that’s how it was originally.

Since switching,  my WiFi speeds have dropped from what was about 230mb, now to about 130mb on all WiFi devices.  Hardwired speeds increased to around 450mb.  Should I try going back to my switch or is there something else that needs to be done?
