Pro6, Homekit, Circle View, Help!
Okay, I've ridden this bull in the rodeo for years and gone around the block more times than I can count. Still scratching my head on this one, so hoping one of you folks who's a bit snappier than me can help me solve this dilemma. I've got several Eero Pro 6 routers around the house. Most equipment is Apple stuff including a couple of ATV's, HomePods, computers and mobile devices. For various reasons, I had to rebuild my network using the same equipment that I've used successfully for quite a while. Routers reinstalled. Check. Updates verified. Check. HomeKit activated. Check. Cameras reset. Check. CircleView cameras connected via Home. Check. Cameras streaming successfully. Check. Change recording setting of cameras from 'stream' to 'stream and allow recording'. Uncheck! Every blasted time I try to change that setting, it times out and gives me a warning that the settings of the cameras can't be updated at this time and to please try again later.
As far as I can tell, my network settings are all the same. Nothing has changed in the cameras. The cameras work just fine, but I can't change the setting to allow recording. Now the real baffling part to me is that what I CAN do is change the settings to 'stream' or 'monitor activity' or 'none', but the one setting to allow recording creates an error message every. single. time. Eeros show HomeKit active. I am not recording to any other services/devices other than iCloud via HomeKit. Is there anything anyone can think of that might be the key to getting this resolved?
Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
