Intermittent Loss of Wifi

Eero has been the most stable out of the 3 mesh systems that I've tried.  Until yesterday.  Yesterday I started getting a red light on the one that is connected to the modem  I checked my modem on the Spectrum app and it says it's connected to the network.  I ended up just unplugging the eero connected to the modem and plugging it back in.  The device will reboot then connect for about 2 to 3 hours then go back to red.  Rinse and repeat throughout the day.

I'm not sure why it's doing this I haven't had any issues in over a year.  I'm on 6.8.0 and have a Motorola E31U2V1 modem.  Is anyone else having this issue as of late?

  • I've been using eero for a few years and I'm happy with it. But beginning about two weeks ago, they became very unstable. Not sure why. So I went to my cell phone and launched the eero app I installed when I bought eero but haven't run for quite some time. I was prompted to merge with my Amazon accountor something. I did. But I don't think that's related. Anyway, I rebooted all 3 eero routers by disconnecting and connecting power cables, by clicking the button in the eero app on my cell phone. This intermittent loss of wifi continues. If I test Internet speed at speedtest.net, it's OK, like 30 Mb/sec. But Wifi is just unstable.

yong321 I'm having the same intermittent outage issue.  I have a Spectrum cable modem and speeds are good but I now am having intermittent outages that can occur once a day or many times a day. I've had Spectrum send me a new modem and I've swapped out the base Eero.  Nothing is working.  Technical support is not helping with anything new to try.  I'm about to throw these in the trash and be done with them
