Eero secure / ad blocks metrics

So I recently got the secure subscription. Interesting seeing my mom's streaming tv taking up 45% of our internet usage. But as I go through the app, I'm confused as to what the numbers mean. In the example screen shot of our other device, what does the 592 represent? The number of ads blocked? Because this is a streaming device for TV, not a computer with browser.

I'm not sure I see how a device sitting idle (goes to standby after 2 hours of no activity) can get such a high number.

It's probably due to how the Roku device and the apps on it are trying to send back analytics data to their respective "motherships" for tracking usage and whatnot. It's not that it's actually blocking ads per say, but rather it's trying to reach out to domain names that are classified as being ad-related.

I had to turn off the ad blocking as it made free streaming services unwatchable. The free service rely on ads and wouldn't stream.
