USB Raid connection with adapter not working

Hello. New to Eero and I am having issues with my OWC Thunderbay Raid. I bought a couple different adapters to try and connect to Eero via thunderbolt to ethernet adapter but I cannot get the drive to show up in the network. Do I need a different adapter than just the cheap one off the shelf or is this not possible? I'm trying to avoid buying an enclosure if possible.

    Does OWC documentation say this device supports using an adapter to connect it to a network? My guess is that this functionality won’t work since the OWC device probably doesn’t have the capability of doing this, regardless of which adapter you use.

    I contacted OWC and you are correct. It is DAS only and will not connect via adapter.
