How can I make this work? Multiple subnets?
So I've recently purchased the Eero. Its a really great product for what it does. But I'm having a particular issue.
I have multiple networks within the house. I have a Netgear router connected to the eero. I do this for labing purposes.
Devices on the Netgear subnet can communicate with devices on the eero subnet. But not the other way around. I want to be able to talk from the eero subnet to the netgear subnet.
I've tried seeing if the eero had an option to add a static route? However, I couldn't find a location for that option?
Has someone ever had this issue? If so would you please be able to shine a light on how I can solve this issue I'm having?
I don't think you will be able to solve this issue. There isn't an option to add a static route on the eero. While eero has advanced networking functionality "under the hood", it's still designed to be very user friendly, and in doing so, they don't offer much when it comes to advanced functionality like you're wanting.
I think the only thing you could do would be swap the eero and Netgear in your topology so that the eero is actually behind the Netgear.
