Admittedly I don’t know much of the intricacies of networking but according to the Eero app it should work. I can’t update my driver, 

I can connect to work if I enter legacy mode but it massively reduce es the quality of the network.

ii have a Del G15 so I’ve plenty of laptop to work with but I use the Acer for work and it’s got all of my stuff on it. 
 

I do expect to have to use LAN but if anyone found a fox, I’d be delighted to hear it,  

if it matters, My Eero was provided by TalkTalk for use with their services only apparently!
