Arlo Essential Spotlight won't connect to Eero 6

I bought an Arlo essential spotlight and it wont connect to my eero 6. I assume it is because it requires 2.4GHz vs 5. I know the eero is both/dual. When I try to temporarily disable the eero's 5ghz for 15 minutes it still does not work. Have tried numerous times. Any advice? 

I know the Arlo works because I brought it to my place of work and connected to their wifi (they have a separate wifi channel for 2.4ghz) and it worked fine.
