Xbox iPhone/iPad app can't find Xbox
I have an Arris modem in Bridge mode. One cable goes from the modem to my Eero. Another cable goes from my Xbox One S to the second Eero Ethernet port. I have around 10 devices on WiFi and everything else seems to work.
The problem is that my Xbox apps have stopped working since switching to Eero, and I can't connect to my Xbox. Strangely, if I open the Windows 10 Xbox app from my WiFi PC, I can see the device and control it. But, my iPhone and iPad refuse to see it, giving error 0x8000001E. Manually entering the IP device of the Xbox does nothing.
Turning my Xbox on/off from my phone has been an important feature to me, so any insights would be greatly appreciated.

Probably going to need to talk to eero support in order to try and get anywhere with this issue.

I'm on day 3 with Eero and I just saw and tested your issue. I too cannot access my Xbox in the app, even using the IP address yields same result.
I have a ticket opened for devices failing to stay on 5G, looks like I will be adding this to it now.

I also just noticed, I cannot stream to my smart TVs from any of my Apple devices. Before I switched to Eero I could stream YouTube to any of my Vizio TVs. They now do not show up even though they are on wireless.

Hi superkrad@gmail.com -
Thanks for reaching out and sorry to hear the issue you are experiencing.
If you haven't yet, could you try removing all the devices involved from your network and re-add them?
If that doesn't resolve the issue, please contact eero support. Our team is very helpful and will do everything they can to resolve this issue.

superkrad@gmail.com ;I just got off phone with Eero support--I fixed the Xbox; I had to manually turn on the Xbox and then discover it in the App--once I did that I was able to turn on and off the device remotely. Until then, it couldn't find it at all. I also figured out that Netflix/Youtube have a menu on my Vizio TV's that list devices connected to them--I had to click "delete all devices" and then I could cast to the TV's. I think the devices are recording the BSSID MAC and the MAC of device--that's why I couldn't connect to any of them because the BSSID MAC will be different since we've switched to Eero now.
Hope that helps!

Well, I was just having the same type of problem and they should manage this thing more properly as leading iPhone App Development Company in Singapore is also heading towards this thing and they are taking many steps which are according to it.
