Eero - Device Paused

I have a WFH user that has the Eero wifi setup in there home. For some reason when they bring home their new Dell Windows 10 work laptop and connect to there home wifi. Every so often the internet stops working on the laptop and they get this webpage http://pause.eero.com when trying to access sites.

After some time or a reboot they can get back on some times. They have there old Windows 10 laptop with the same software configuration on it and do not have this issue with that laptop.

My guess is that something with the Eero security is flagging the new laptop as having malware or spyware on it and blocking it. I've checked the laptop and can't find anything on it and feel pretty good that its clean.

Is there an option of whitelisting this laptop in the eero router so it stops blocking the laptop?

  • I’m having the same issue. I’ve never knowingly put a device on “Paused” status , but random devices  occasionally go into Paused state in their own, and when I attempt to turn off zpsused., it fsukddnrbb

timbck2 I don’t know how that got so garbled. I was attempting to say “when I attempt to turn off “Paused” on those devices, it doesn’t do anything at all.”
