Help with configuration
Hi community,
I'd like some advice please. Because of poor wi-fi connectivity in my house I configured my ISP provided router into a modem and installed 4 eero devices. Problem solved and it's fantastic, fast speed and no blind spots in the house. However, this is one big problem.
My parents IP cameras have a FTP connection to a server in my house and the cameras there upload video and png files to it when movement is detected. After installing eero the cameras had connectivity and I've forwarded port 22 to the ftp server but it doesn't work. I contacted the support team and was surprised to find out that FTP is NOT supported by eero, despite what their own Q&A says.
It's a problem I need to solve and I'd like to do it in a cost effective manner. I'd like to send my eeros' back but they do provide excellent wifi coverage so was thinking about could I put my ISP modem back to it's router configuration but continue to use eero for wifi around the house?
I have to say I'm disappointed that FTP is not supported despite what eeros' own Q&A says, very misleading indeed.
Thanks for any advice
Martyn

Hello MartynP ,
I was able to verify that FTP is supported. However, you'll need to use it in passive mode. I would suggest you look into passive FTP to determine if this will work for you.
