Metronet Fiber, eero Pro 6, Upload Speed Unacceptable
I had Metronet Fiber installed a few days ago; I have the 1Gbps download/upload plan.
If I connect my PC directly to the ONT, I get 900Mbps+ bidirectional, as expected.
If I connect my eero Pro 6 to the ONT and (via the app) run a speed test, I see similar results (last test was 975/940).
However, if I connect my PC to the eero Pro 6 via the wired port, I can only get 10-20Mbps upload (but still 900+Mbps download). Wireless connections do better on upload, but still significantly slower upload speeds (~250 download, 100 upload) [note: I completely understand wireless speeds will be slower than wired, that is NOT my concern].
I've read other threads discussing similar issues and attempted the recommended fixes. I've replaced the cables between the ONT and eero with Cat8 ethernet cables (didn't even know such a thing existed), I've swapped cable positions on the eero, and connected PC directly to eero with another Cat8 cable, bypassing my gigabit switch. See attached image to see the results of all that.
I can find no weakness in the system except for the eero Pro 6, which I purchased because I suspected the plain old eero 6 that I had before it was the problem. Apparently, that was not the case and I've spent more money needlessly.
Advice? Help? Is there some hidden eero setting I need to toggle to enable unrestricted uploads? This just feels arbitrary... and extremely frustrating.
Thanks,
