Let’s talk about the fact that there is no simple way to disable eero secure. I experience way too many wireless network performance issues on my network that really feel like dns problems. It would be easy to either confirm or rule that theory out if I could simply switch to custom dns servers on the eero. However, that’s not possible. Eero has made to so difficult to turn off eero secure and it feels like a scummy attempt to keep people from turning it off. There should be a single toggle to turn on/off eero secure. As it works now I have to first turn off Advanced Security. Then turn off Ad Blocking. Then delete all Content Filters and Block Apps under Parental Controls. This makes it impossible to easily turn the features back on because all of those settings are lost.
