Updated Eeros Always Show "Update Available"

I'm running a 4 Eero mesh network (three Pro 6s and one 2nd gen Pro). As of this date (1/2/21) all four are running the latest firmware (6.1.0-877). For the past few updates after the automatic updates are completed, all of my units display "Update Available - Install Now". But the software is already installed! If I click on the "Install Now", it will hibernate for about 5 seconds, then come back with "Installation Complete" or something like that, but the "Update Available" is still there. This isn't hurting anything, but it's annoying to know that you're running the latest firmware but to notification system isn't reflecting the actual status.

  • I’d suggest contacting eero support as I’m guessing they have a way to clear this out.

    This sounds like there is an update stuck somewhere on the backend of the eeros. As cMoo92 mentioned, I suggest you reach out to our support number so we can have an agent review your network on the back end and clear it out if necessary.   • This has happened to me a 2nd time now.  I contacted eero support the first time and they initiated the update.  I just contacted them again about this latest update not being able to be installed.
