More info about devices

I would like to know what a device manufactured by Liteon Technology is. I have tried a MAC address lookup e8:d0:fc:57:fd:1f an IP Address lookup 192.168.7.61 all to no avail. All I get is Liteon Technology. I don't wish to sound paranoid, but I would like to know what is connected to my network. Anyone?

    They make wifi chips for many IoT devices.

    txgunlover is right. It’s just a device that you have joined to the WiFi in your home. It could be a TV, speaker, printer, etc. Liteon isn’t the brand of the device, but rather just the wireless card inside the device that the manufacturer chose to use.

    Thanks for the responses. I truly appreciate them. And that is the information I have gotten from my searches, so far. But, I really would like to know what is connected to my network. Just knowing it's a chip doesn't tell me much.

      jshaw42 nobody, including eero, can tell you anything more about what the device is. You could check the network settings on your various devices and see which one has that 192.168.7.61 IP address, and then you’d know.

      jshaw42 unfortunately I can’t, since I have no idea what devices you have in your home. You can look up your product’s owner manuals which should help you.

      cMoo92 Thanks again. It looks like I have quite a task ahead of me. Eero says there are 21 devices connected and I have identified 20 of them with a host name. It's just the pesky Liteon Corporation connection I can' find ... yet.
