DHCP settings and range
Hi- I would like to replicate the above (apple extreme) settings in my first time newly installed eero pro 6e gateway which i have just installed.
Question: do i accomplish this by picking Manual IP, changing IP address prefix to 10.0.0.0 and appropriately changing the lease ranges? Even though it says "manual IP", devices without static IP addresses will still get assigned dynamically by the router, correct? Thanks!

Hi Greetings from eero!
You have it mainly correct. eero will still be automatically generating and assigning addresses. The manual in this instance is you are setting the range manually instead of allowing the eero to do it automatically.
So, go to eero app->Settings->Network Settings->DHCP & NAT, move the dot to Manual, select the 10.0.0.0 prefix and put in the follwoing numbers:
Subnet IP: 10.0.1.0
Subnet mask: 255.255.255.255.0
Staring IP: 10.0.1.2
Ending IP: 10.0.1.254
and click save.
The Apple extreme will have to be off once you make these changes. You can't run two routers using the same IP range. They will kick each other offline and things will be an example of the term: unstable.
Thanks,
