Sending gmail from Android ver 11.0

Hi,

I am having problems with a 2 unit Eeros router configuration in my house.  On my wife's and my Windows 10 PCs, we are able to browse the internet and send email.  On our phones, we cannot. The email stays in the Outbox.  When we turn off WiFi, (with cell data turned on)  the email will send. I checked the eeros app on my and my wife's cell phones and all Content Filters were off.

Bottom Line:  How do I troubleshoot this problem?

The Eeros 2-unit configuration was set up by my son. Unfortunately, he is not available on a regular basis to troubleshoot. I have minimal knowledge of Eeros, but I am not afraid to try things.

Can you help me?

I think you have to check you phone settings. It sounds like you may have your IP address settings or internet connection settings set in a way in which it will block you from using WiFi on any network. I am familiar with Apple but I believe that Android is a little similar. I would go to settings, then cellular settings and check to see the options displayed. Like roaming, WiFi, cellular data and make sure everything looks fine there.  If not then go to settings WiFi connection and make sure private WiFi address is turned on and that configure WiFi is set to automatic. If that doesn’t solve it and everything looks good, go to privacy in your phones settings to make sure you are not blocking your IP address in which the eeros need to see in order to connect to your WiFi. That could be located in the security settings in your phone. Sometimes too much security on one network can fight each other and cause connection problems. I hope you are able to solve it soon
