I have a eero Pro 6 connected to a ISP provided Arris NVG443B modem/router combo.  I've been streaming Qobuz via their web app to my Windows PC connected via USB to a Schiit Audio Bifrost 2 Dac / Lyr 3 headphone amp on the desktop.  My goal is to stream Qobuz to my audio system in another room.

I thought if I added a 2nd eero pro acting as a access point in the same room as my audio system, I could use one of it's gigibit ports to connect a Lumin U2 mini to a dac and then to my preamp.  But according to Pixel Magic, eero does not forward all multicast packets without dropping, causing failures in multicast based discovery used in Lumin and Roon.  Further, they stated that there is a significant chance that putting the eero in bridge mode won't resolve the problem either as it drops the multicast from / to Lumin app via WiFi.

I haven't purchased the Lumin yet but it comes highly recommended by my audio dealer.

Has anyone here found a workaround to the multicast packet dropping issue?

Would adding powerline adapters between the two eeros work?
