Does a cable modem without WiFi need to be set to bridge mode?

Have been loving my Eero and now setting up a few for friends and family. In all previous cases, the modem has also had WiFi, which I've had to disable and set to bridge mode. My newest setup is an Arris modem TM1602, which does not have WiFi capabilities. As far as I can tell, this model doesn't have a firewall or any other relevant features. So in this configuration, do I need to do anything?

Thanks!

The TM1602 is just a modem, so you’ll want to leave your gateway eero in automatic mode (not bridge mode). And there is no configuration that you need to do (nor can you) on the modem. Just plug in and go!
