Ring Hub

I purchased several Ring Outdoor Lights.  Originally I thought that the built-in Zigbee Hub would suffice for connecting the Lights- Not.  I purchased the Ring Hub, but it won't connect to the Eero Pro 6.  Any ideas?

    Hello reginaprat ,

I know most Ring devices are only 2.4GHz. Try the steps below and let me know if you are still having difficulties connecting your Ring Hub to your eero network.

Try temporarily hiding the 5GHz broadcast. You can do this in Settings -> Troubleshooting -> My Device Won't Connect -> My device is 2.5GHz only. This will hide the 5GHz broadcast for 15 minutes to give you time to try connecting the Ring Hub to your eero network.

Depending on the model of the Ring devices, they also may not support WiFi 6. If you are still having difficulties connecting the Ring devices to your network with 5GHz hidden, try turning on Legacy Mode as well. Legacy Mode changes just the 2.4GHz broadcast so it rolls back to WiFi 5 instead of WiFi 6. The settings can be found in the same area as the above setting, Settings -> Troubleshooting -> My Device Won't Connect -> My Device Can’t Detect Wi-Fi 6
