eero control by more than one app user?

I have teenage children who are tech savvy. How do I prevent them from changing settings on my home eero network by simply downloading the app and making changes?

  • Hi  Outdrzman —

Thanks for reaching out and for your question.

As long as your children don't have access to your phone or email, they shouldn't be able to sign into the eero app.

Anytime a person signs into the app, we require two-factor authentication. A code will be sent to your phone or email address, which you will then use to sign in.

    I hope this helps!

That helps a great deal. Now if I could only blacklist individual websites or IP addresses I would be all set. Didn’t realize that was not available with eero (even paid extras!) or I would likely have made a different buying decision.

    • Jeff C. This two-factor auth doesn't cut it, especially for those paying for eero plus to have family profiles with safe filters setup.  Why?  Because most kids (from my experience and asking other parents) have the passcode to their parents iPhones.  ...it is very common.  If they can unlock the phone they can get to e-mail and/or sms text message.  Can you please implement something that requires a 4 of 6 digit key to make changes to family profiles or safe filters?  If not, my eero plus membership will be cancelled.
