Setting Static IP address

I have a static ip address assigned to me from my ISP, however whenever i enter the information into the app, and try to select 'save' it does not save.  it does absolutely nothing.  i can go to other tabs, go back, try again, nothing.  close the app and re open it, and its automatically defaulted back to dchp.  how do i set up my static ip address?? and is there a way to access any of this information via computer or is it ONLY able to be done via the app?

I'm having a similar issue. I think the probably is the eero defaults to DHCP and needs to receive the ISP Settings change from DHCP to Static IP from the eero cloud servers. Problem is it'll never get that command if you don't have DHCP. I had to have my ISP change my Internet back to DHCP, let the eero connect to the cloud to receive the ISP Settings change, and then have my ISP change me back to Static IP address.

You can only connect to the eero device via the eero application. eero needs a better way to manage this.

Most often, you need to access your router's web-based interface to configure network settings, including static IP addresses. To do this, open a web browser on your computer and enter your router's IP address in the address bar. The router's IP address is usually something like "192.168.1.1" or "192.168.0.1." Check your router's manual or documentation for the specific IP address. You'll be prompted to log in to your router. Typically, you need to enter a username and password. If you haven't changed these from the default settings, you can find the default username and password in your router's  your router's web interface, look for the DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) settings. This is where you can configure static IP addresses.Within the DHCP settings, there should be an option to assign a static IP address. You'll need to enter the MAC address (hardware address) of the device for which you want to assign a static IP. Then, specify the IP address you want to assign to that device. After entering the information, make sure to save or apply the changes. This step is crucial for your router to recognize the static IP assignment.Sometimes, it's necessary to reboot the device for the changes to take effect. After setting up the static IP, verify that the device has the assigned IP address. You can do this by checking the device's network settings.
