0Outdoor coverage
I have the simple eero system and have loved it for the last 2 years! I saw some older posts about outdoor coverage but was wondering if there are some new information? Also does eero have any ambition to come up with a solid solution to this? If not they should the past year has brought people together more than ever and I feel outdoor gatherings at home will be more popular!

Most customers just place an eero by the window or have a spare eero that they take outside with a power cord. Some customers have even built containers for eeros they wanted to have outdoor all the time. The eeros broadcast pretty far though and just placing one by the wall and facing it toward the wall should provide ample coverage.
You can also submit this request to support@eero.com and we will get it escalated up for review and consideration. But as for now, we have no plans on releasing an eero that is designed for outside placement.

I placed eero near to wall. the coverage is still not available in my backyard or front-yard. Can I put eero in covered patio?

whizyoga I ran an eero pro for 3+ years here in Dallas on a covered patio (110-2 degrees over that time period). Replaced it with a 6 pro. Seemed fine.
